Hi, I’m Cat, the photographer behind Jelly Studios in Dartford, Kent
I’m a mum, a model, and an award-winning photographer – and someone who genuinely understands how quickly life changes.
I specialise in child and family photography, where I bring creativity, sensitivity and expertise, while empowering clients to express their truest selves, ensuring every portrait resonates with personality and creativity with my viewers.
I create relaxed, confidence-boosting photography experiences that capture real connection and emotion; images that feel like you, and that you’ll still love years from now.
My Story
My journey into photography started in the fashion world, where I worked as a model for over 20 years. That experience gave me a deep understanding of what it feels like to be in front of the camera – the nerves, the uncertainty – and it also shaped how I see light, styling, posing, and storytelling.
Over time, I transitioned more into photography and built Jelly Studios as a space where creativity and comfort go hand in hand.
Today, I photograph everything from newborns and families, to weddings, fashion, editorial and commercial work. I always approach every shoot with the same goal: to create images that feel powerful, honest, and beautifully crafted.
What it’s like to work with me
Jelly Studios is my own private studio space in Dartford, Kent. It’s where I create timeless, distraction-free portraits for families, and clean, controlled imagery for fashion, editorial and commercial work.
If you’re worried about feeling awkward, not knowing how to pose, or your children not “behaving” perfectly, you’re not alone – and you’re in the right place.
My sessions are calm, guided, and never rushed. I’ll help you with simple direction that feels natural, and I’ll always make space for real life to happen.
The best images are so often the in-between moments – the laugh that happens when someone pulls a face, the cuddle that appears out of nowhere, the way your child reaches for your hand without thinking.
For brands and creatives, the experience is still supportive and collaborative – with a clear plan, strong creative direction, and a focus on clean, modern imagery that pushes boundaries but ultimately aligns with the aesthetics of the brand.
