Christmas always comes around far too quickly, doesn’t it? One minute you’re planning, the next it’s Christmas Eve… and the children have grown again.
My Christmas mini photography sessions are designed to make it easy to capture beautiful festive portraits without the stress.
They’re short, sweet, and full of magic – perfect for Christmas cards, gifts for grandparents, and creating a little tradition your family can look forward to every year.
These sessions take place in my Dartford studio, with a styled Christmas set that’s created fresh each season. It’s festive, timeless, and all about your children’s personalities – with plenty of room for cuddles and family moments too!

A festive Christmas set in my studio
Each year I design a Christmas setup that photographs beautifully and feels timeless. Think cosy, magical, and elegant, without it being overly busy or distracting.
A relaxed, child-friendly session
Little ones don’t need to “perform” for the camera. I keep things calm and playful, with gentle prompts that bring out real smiles and sweet expressions.
Children, siblings, and family portraits
These sessions work brilliantly for children on their own, siblings together, and a few family portraits too if you’d like them. When you enquire, I’ll guide you on what’s possible depending on your family size.
Perfect for cards, gifts, and keepsakes
If you’ve been meaning to update the frames around your home, or send Christmas cards that actually include you, this is your opportunity.
The Christmas Photography Experience
Before Your Session
Once Christmas booking opens for the year, I’ll share all the details: session dates, what’s included, styling guidance, and how to prepare your little ones.
I also have a large Christmas wardrobe which my clients are always welcome to use.
Because spaces are limited and these sessions are very popular, I always recommend booking early.
During Your Session
These Christmas mini sessions are short and sweet, designed for little attention spans. I’ll guide you throughout, keep the atmosphere light, and capture a lovely variety of images without it feeling rushed.
After Your Session
Within around one week, you’ll receive a beautifully edited private gallery to view and choose your favourite images.
Final images are delivered in high-resolution digital format, ready for printing, sharing, and framing.
You can also choose to purchase prints and other keepsakes directly from your gallery.
Pricing
Christmas details (including pricing, what’s included, and session dates) are released each year when booking opens.

Christmas Photography FAQ
When do Christmas sessions take place?
Christmas sessions run on selected dates each year, usually starting in November. The dates are released when booking opens, and spaces are limited.
Can I bring more than one child?
Yes, absolutely. Siblings are very welcome. If you’re bringing multiple children (or would like full family portraits too), let me know when you enquire so I can advise on the best session option.
Are parents included in the photos?
What should we wear?
I’ll send styling guidance once you book, but as a simple starting point: soft, coordinated colours and cosy textures photograph beautifully. Avoid large logos and very busy patterns. I also have a large Christmas wardrobe which you are welcome to use.
What if my child is shy or doesn’t cooperate?
That’s completely normal and expected. I work gently and quickly, and I’m brilliant at helping children feel at ease without pressure, with the help of bubbles and other toys!
Where do the sessions take place?
All Christmas minis take place at my private studio in Dartford, Kent.
